  • Permanent full time | 35 hours from Monday - Friday between 9am - 6pm

Your Opportunity

This is a great opportunity to make a difference and work in the team raising funds to ensure Mission Australia has the revenue needed to keep our incredible programs running.

This role is responsible for managing outbound phone campaigns, inbound calls and supervision of phone and administration activities through training and staff support in order to achieve personal and team goals. The role will involve approx. 60% inbound and outbound calls and responding to emails and 40% providing training, supervision and support to staff.   

With a strong attention to detail and focus on processes, compassion and efficiency, you will work in a friendly high performing team.

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Provide initial and ongoing training and support for team members
  • Write and update call scripts and standard responses documents
  • Assign calls and provide direction regarding priorities
  • Test call segmentations to ensure success of outbound sales calls
  • Provide support and updates for team members regarding live campaigns and changes in processes    
  • Supervisor level role of the telephony system and assist with reporting and dashboards
  • Process documentation and ongoing improvement
  • Provide support in the absence of the Manager
  • Call existing supporters to update details, request donations and make welcome or thank you calls
  • Answer inbound calls, manage queries, cancellations and complaint handling
  • Respond to emails from a shared inbox

Requirements for Success

  • 2 years’ experience in a telemarketing environment as a team coach/trainer
  • Demonstrated skills in telemarketing/sales environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Maintain confidentiality, self-motivation, initiative and be an excellent team player
  • Strong attention-to-detail to maintain accurate information
  • Proficiency across Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, Outlook and SharePoint
