I’ve been a software engineer for more than 3 years, and I’ve worked on challenging software development projects. I specialized in backend programming while working as a Python developer at Mobiloitte, implementing APIs, streamlining databases, and building Django-based web apps. I successfully completed the delivery of two applications on my own, and I also worked with the UI team on two additional projects. As a senior backend engineer at Bhumio Inc., I oversaw project development and, in addition to dev contribution, maintained the code base and carried out deployment activities while communicating remotely with the team and the customer. With the help of a system I created and put into place for online document preparation and signing, I was able to reduce the cost of purchasing property by 40% while I was working in this position.

As a graduate student of the University at Buffalo’s accelerated master’s degree program in Data Science, I am currently in search of opportunities to work in data science or software engineering. I had first-hand experience of applied mathematics, statistics, and probability using MATLAB and R in my first semester here, and I have project experience in Machine Learning, Deep Learning,Advanced Statistics, and Data Mining ( Time Series, Association Rules, Survival Analysis), and handling large amounts of data using Big Data and Cloud Computing as part of my Data Intensive Computing curriculum. I have developed strong analytical and programming skills throughout my professional experience and graduate studies, such as using Python, R, and SQL for data analysis, along with AWS and Big Data for data management, and Pytorch and Tensorflow libraries for machine learning modeling. I am hoping to work with like-minded individuals as we focus on striving to solve complex data problems and challenges.
